Managing Your Fern Baby Fern Subscription
Understanding Your Plan
Fern Baby Fern offers three monthly subscription tiers:

All plans include personalized care cards, a 30-day plant health guarantee, and Monday–Wednesday shipping. Full Canopy subscribers receive a quarterly artist-edition planter and early access to new arrivals.
When Does My Box Ship?
Subscriptions ship during the first week of each month, Monday–Wednesday. Orders placed by the 15th of the month ship the following month. Orders placed after the 15th will begin the month after that.
How to Pause Your Subscription
You can pause your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.
To pause:
- Log in to your account at fernbabyfern.com
- Navigate to My Subscription
- Select Pause Subscription
- Choose how many months to pause (1–3 months available)
- Confirm your selection
Pausing must be completed before the 15th of the month to take effect for the upcoming shipment.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
We don't want to see you go, but there are no fees or penalties for canceling.
To cancel:
- Log in to your account at fernbabyfern.com
- Navigate to My Subscription
- Select Cancel Subscription
- Confirm your cancellation
Cancellations processed before the 15th of the month will take effect before the next shipment. Cancellations after the 15th may result in one final shipment.
How to Change Your Plan
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
To change your plan:
- Log in to your account
- Navigate to My Subscription
- Select Change Plan
- Choose your new tier and confirm
Plan changes take effect the following month.
Setting Plant Preferences
Subscribers can set preferences to help us curate the right plants for your space. You can indicate:
- Light levels in your home (low, medium, bright indirect)
- Pet-safe plants only
- Size constraints (small, medium, large)
- Plants to avoid (e.g. ferns, trailing plants)
To update your preferences, go to My Subscription → Plant Preferences in your account.
We'll curate within your preferences — you won't select specific plants, but you won't receive something that doesn't work for your space.
My Plant Arrived Damaged
Contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right — either a replacement or store credit, your choice.
Email hello@fernbabyfern.com with your order number and a photo of the plant as it arrived.
My Plant Isn't Thriving
All subscription plants are covered by our 30-day health guarantee. If your plant isn't thriving despite following the care instructions on your care card, contact us and we'll replace it or issue store credit.

Gift Subscriptions
Gift subscriptions are available in 3, 6, and 12-month terms. The recipient receives a welcome email with instructions for setting their plant preferences before the first shipment.
